Mary’s presents visitors to the popular historically significant city of York with a wonderful base to explore its many attractions from.

The Abbingdon Guest House provides relaxed and friendly accommodation, with a choice of 8 en suite rooms. Make a drink from your complimentary tea/coffee tray, before settling down in front of the TV, with DVD player. You’ll also have use of a radio alarm clock, as standard.

For your convenience, Airden House is completely non-smoking. The guest house has limited car parking available on a first come, first served basis and thereafter there is a public car park at the bottom of the street.

Our attractive Victorian Villa has easy access to the centre of the city by a 15 minute walk or three minutes on the bus which passes the front door.

Owners Paul and Julie will offer a very warm welcome and excellent hospitality to all, giving personal attention and ensuring a homely atmosphere in their 7 spotless and cosy en suite bedrooms. Paul and Julie are particularly proud of the quality of their breakfasts, prepared with locally sourced ingredients, from fresh outdoor-reared pork sausages, rashers of locally cured bacon and free range Yorkshire eggs, to freshly baked croissants.

The centre of York is a pleasant 20 minute riverside stroll away, and for those who wish to conserve their energy for sightseeing, there is a frequent bus service into the city centre. We are also conveniently situated for York racecourse, York University and Fulford International golf club.

Lovingly restored in 2006, this Victorian end of terrace house offers bright and clean non-smoking rooms with modern amenities and antique touches. Three rooms are en suite with big showers, while one room has a cast iron, roll top bath for romantics.

Its close proximity to town makes Ashley Guest House an ideal base for exploring all of York's visitor attractions.

Check-in times are from 10:00 to 13:00 and 17:00 to 19:00. The guest house is closed from 13:00 until 17:00. Free parking is available nearby if you are arriving between check-in times.

And for an added touch of luxury there is a good choice of four poster bedrooms. Astley House also has a private car park situated at the rear.

York's wonderful attractions are only several minutes walk away.
